Refuge
Supporting our youth is a responsibility that falls on everyone.
God's Refuge initiative was established in memory of our Founder and CEO's beloved mother, Elzada Washington-Davis, who suffered severe sexual abuse by family members during her childhood and into her young adulthood.

The mission of God's Refuge is to offer resources that will provide a SAFE SPACE for youth, ensuring they feel HEARD, VALUED, RESPECTED, and CARED for.
Inclusive Support
This is why the work we do through the God's Refuge Initiative is so needed. Our wrap-around services are designed to support youth in every aspect of their journey to success. Through established community partnerships, we provide mental health support to ensure emotional well-being, clothing vouchers to help them present their best selves, and transportation assistance to make getting to work or training programs easier. These services are integral to removing barriers and empowering young individuals to thrive personally and professionally.
